In Christ, All Fullness Dwells by Peggy Kannaday It pleased the Father that in Christ all fullness dwells. In Christ, All Fullness Dwells! (1,644 words) When we are born-again. We are to become totally new. John the Baptist said that the Lord would increase and he would decrease. How are we to do this? We are to present our bodies a living sacrifice unto God which is only our reasonable service. We must surrender all. It is a daily process. Romans 12:1, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service How do we do that? When we yield ourselves to the Lord; then we can be transformed by the renewing of our minds. The body and the actions follow the thinking process. The Bible says that so as a man thinketh; so is he. Romans 12:2a, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind," It is putting ourselves on the altar daily, that we can become holy and acceptable unto God. We are here to bring in the Kingdom of God on earth even as it is in heaven. Christ is in us, and the more we have His fullness dwelling in our lives, the more we can be used by Him. Through prayer and obedience, we prove what is the good, acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2b, "that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." How can we do this? 1.) We love God first above all else. 2.) We seek His Kingdom first and His righteousness. 3.) We abide in Him daily by putting our total trust in Him. In the final analysis of our being overcomers in this world; it will be by the grace of God and all our crowns will be rightfully laid at the Savior's feet. Romans 12:3a, "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; We gain all the power to be overcomers by faith in God's blood sacrifice, His resurrection power and His finished work upon the cross. Romans 12:3b, "but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith." God has given all, and we in turn give our all to Him in love. Even our faith is of Him. We gain His righteousness through becoming filled with His glory and Presence in our lives. The Fullness of Christ is the greatest fullness in the universe. The opposite of emptiness is fullness. We were created that our joy would be full and joy comes from the presence of the Lord. We can have His fullness or as much of the Lord as we choose. When we draw nigh unto God; He will draw nigh unto us. Our fullment and our joy is link irrevocably to our yieldedness to Christ. Christ in us the hope of glory. Emptiness brings despair. It is our choice. We were created with a void that only Christ can fill. It please God the Father that in Jesus Christ all fullness dwells. He wants to give us joy unspeakable and full of glory. This is our highest enjoyment in life. If we are born-again Christian then we have all that is needed. John 1:16, "And of His fulness have all we received, and grace for grace." We were created for God's pleasure and to have fellowship with Him. He loves us so much that He will put situations into our lives to draw us closer to Him, or we can come to Him daily on our own. We can then find all the riches that He has for us. It is the ultimate fulfillment to abide and rest in Him. If you are a real child of God, and if you stray away from Him; He will chasen you. He will discipline and chase you to bring you back into the fold again. It is the true Father's love that cares that much for our safety, well-being and our very best. Father knows best, and He love us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to us. God has a plan, and it is a fantastic and glorious plan and purpose for our lives. Ephesians 1:9-11, "Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will:" HE WANTS TO GATHER ALL THINGS OF CHRIST TOGETHER AS ONE! We will be one as Jesus and His Father are one, and we will have His love one for another. It will be a time when the Church will have more love than hatred for one another, more cooperation than competition, more unity than discord. It will be a glorious day. In love and unity; God's blessings and fullness dwell. WHEN THE CHURCH PUTS CHRIST AS OUR HEAD THEN WE CAN FUNCTION AS THE TRUE BODY OF CHRIST! Ephesians 1:22-23, "And hath put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all." To the extent that we yield to God and His love, it is to that extent that we will walk in His great power, authority and victory. WE ARE TO BE FILLED WITH ALL OF THE FULNESS OF GOD! The fullness of God is to be rooted and grounded in His love because God is love. Ephesians 3:16-19, "That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God." WE ARE TO BE FILLED WITH CHRIST UNTIL WE ALL COME INTO THE UNITY OF THE FAITH AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD! On a daily basis, we are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, and we are to endure to the very end, and then we will be saved. Ephesians 4:13, "Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:" GOD IS A GOD OF RECONCILIATION AND RESTORATION! Colossians 1:13-20, "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things He might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven." WHAT IS THE ULTIMATE RESULT OF OUR BEING FILLED WITH CHRIST'S FULNESS AND UNITED IN FAITH AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD? Great News! Be getting ready for the greatest wedding of all time. It will be the greatest joy. Ephesians 5:27, "That He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." GOD IS NOW IN THE PROCESS OF CREATING HIS GLORIOUS CHURCH THAT THE GATES OF HELL WILL NO LONGER PREVAIL AGAINST. HE IS PREPARING A BRIDE FOR THE BRIDEGROOM, AND SHE (THE CHURCH) IS NOW MAKING HERSELF READY! Revelation 19:6-9, "And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And He saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And He saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God." What should we do now to open the doors to the fullness of Christ? 1.) We are to come to Jesus. He is standing at the door of our hearts. 2.) We are to buy from Him white raiment for the wedding ceremony. 3.) We are to buy gold refined by the fire. 4.) We are to buy eye slave so that we can see clearly. Great blessings await all those who are now making themselves ready for the Bridegroom.
